Just an bit about our meal time routine of late.

At Jeb's bidding, this is it.

We stand and pledge allegiance to the flag, but there is not a flag. So, Jeb finds something red, white, and blue or just red. A recent evening meal found the five of us with our hands over our hearts reciting the pledge as we looked at the lid of some food product. I can't remember now if it was "Spreadable Butter" or what. I think it was an apple on another evening. This evening, we simply did the pledge without an object for us to pledge to or toward. The chicken, bread, broccoli, and corn on the cob provided no red, blue, and just a little white.

After the pledge, Jeb leads us in a rendition of "God Bless America" replete with Jeb adding some "Oh baby" type sayings between phrases.
